The University of North Alabama Circle K hosted a party in honor The Eliminate Project. Fright night was a huge success, but of course took a lot of work. The biggest obstacle was planning, planning, and more planning. In order to pull of this event off CircleK had to plan months in advance. One of the biggest concerns was how to fund Fright Night. Circle K was generously allocated funds from the University to put on this fun and successful event. We raised $130 for The Eliminate Project, which is three times the amount raised last year! This event took a lot of people to make possible. Firstof all Jaleesa, current UNA Circle K secretary, coordinated the entire event from food to all the activities. Next our current president Rachel, was the primary speaker during Fright Night. She also secured the allocations from the university as well as assisting Jaleesa with her responsibilities. Recognition also goes out to all the hardworking members of the UNA Circle K who: worked concessions, hosted games, set up, and took everything down.

To start the fun night off, we handed out something that college students love to get their hands on; free t-shirts! We handed out 250 shirts to all students who attended the event. Then, we hosted the “mummy wrap” where several students hurriedly wrapped themselves for our entertainment value. Next, yours truly won second place in the “Whip/ Nae Nae” dance off. Lastly, but not least, many people participated in an epic costume competition. Prizes were handed out and “Bigfoot” won first place taking home a new i-pod shuffle. Overall, Fright Night went perfectly thanks to the generosity of The University of North Alabama and the dedication put in by our Circle K members.
